Wire Mesh

Some types of wire mesh.
You’d be surprised how prolific the use of wire mesh is in manufacturing. From ash screens in bottom ash hoppers of coal burning power plants, to conveyor belting in bakeries, to the deep fryer in every restaurant, this is an important product with multiple uses.
Types of Applications
There are many types of weaves that have evolved based on application needs. We’re going to discuss a few of them here that pertain to our product offerings.

Woven Wire Mesh.
Woven Wire Mesh
Woven wire mesh is one of the most versatile types. See our page Flexible Wire Mesh Screens for information on how I-PIE, Inc. services application needs in bottom ash hoppers of coal burning power plants.
Conveyor Belting is another application for woven wire mesh. Conveyor woven wire belts are built with flattened wire spirals across the belts width and connected with either straight or crimped cross rods. The rod edges are offered in standard welded and other edge finishes. I-PIE, Inc. offers industrial high temperature wire belt conveying with options for either chain or friction driven conveying.
